Qualifications and Study Experience

Abigail studied law at Birmingham City University, before completing the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law, Birmingham.

Whilst at University Abigail was a volunteer for the Citizens Advice Bureau and a member of Youth Parliament whereby she represented young people in her local consistency on issues which mattered to them.

 

Work Experience

Abigail began her legal career at Waldrons Solicitors in 2015, starting as an administration assistant in the Residential Conveyancing department. Before starting her Training Contract with Waldron’s in September 2017 undertaking seats in Residential Conveyancing, Criminal Law and Child Care Law. Abigail always enjoyed the work in Residential Conveyancing and chose to qualify into that area of law.

Upon qualification Abigail moved to another local firm and expanded her New Build expertise before returning to Waldron’s in 2019 as a qualified Solicitor. The experience and insight gained was extremely useful as it now allows Abigail to advise clients on a range of New Build matters.

Abigail was promoted to Associate Solicitor and Head of Residential Conveyancing in Kingswinford in November 2021.

Abigail has dealt with a varied caseload of matters including Sale and Purchase of Freehold and Leasehold property, Right to Buy purchases, New Build plot purchases, Re-mortgage of residential property and Transfer of residential property. Abigail also has experience in dealing with unregistered titles and Help to Buy matters.

Abigail qualified as a Solicitor in 2019 and is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

 

Personal Info

Outside of work Abigail enjoys spending time with her family and friends and travelling as much as she can. Recently visiting Iceland where she was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights!
