Qualifications and Study Experience
Tasbiah studied her A Levels at the King Edwards College VI in Stourbridge and this included Law, Psychology and English Language. Tasbiah achieved grades AAB and thereafter studied Law at the University of Birmingham obtaining a 2:1 degree classification.
Tasbiah began her legal career in April 2017 as a Paralegal at a small high street firm in Birmingham which specialises in Private Client. In July 2017 she was offered the chance to qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive and chose to accept this route having decided that Private Client was the area she wished to specialise in. Tasbiah managed a workload across all areas of Private Client including Wills, Probate and Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney, Trusts and Court of Protection. She managed the firms Court of Protection files including preparing and filing the annual reports, arranging for the annual file costing, meeting with the patient and their family and dealing with the day to day tasks.
After working full time and studying part-time, Tasbiah qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in March 2021 and joined Waldrons Solicitors in August 2021 in their Private Client team. Tasbiah has continued to manage a growing workload across all areas of Private Client and is a valued team member. She has continued to take interest in the Court of Protection area and works alongside the Managing Director to assist with the Deputyship matters.
Tasbiah enjoys building a great rapport with her clients and assisting them in all areas of Private Client. She understands that this often involves sensitive topics and is able to navigate the same in an empathetic manner whilst being professional.
Tasbiah qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in March 2021 and regulated by the CILEx Regulation.
Outside of work, Tasbiah enjoys spending time with her family and friends which usually involves food. She likes to read and relax by visiting the Spa. Tasbiah is keen to keep fit and maintains this by visiting the gym regularly.
