Role Overview:
As a Newly Qualified Solicitor in our Commercial Property team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality legal advice and services to our diverse clientele. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Newly Qualified Solicitor: You must be newly qualified and have completed your training contract.
  • Commercial Experience: At least 1 year of your training contract should have been spent in the commercial department, ideally with a focus on commercial property law.
  • Strong Legal Acumen: Demonstrate excellent knowledge of commercial property law and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
  • Client-Focused: Commitment to delivering outstanding client service with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The Role: As a Legal Secretary within our Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting fee earners in a close-knit, medium sized team environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive secretarial support, including diary management, drafting correspondence, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents.
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
  • Managing incoming communications, including phone calls and emails, and ensuring timely responses.

Requirements: To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Legal Secretary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and excellent typing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Legal experience or relevant qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
