Qualifications and Study Experience

Shantel studied Law (LLB Hons) with Criminology at Staffordshire University and graduated with a 2:1 classification. She then went on to complete her Level 4 and Level 6 Diploma in Conveyancing Law and Practice.

 

Work Experience

Shortly after graduating in 2016, Shantel was offered a job with Waldrons Solicitors as an administrative assistant within the Residential Property department. Her role involved opening new files for clients who were either purchasing, selling, transferring or remortgaging their properties, alongside other general administrative duties. In 2017 she progressed to a secretarial role and following on from this in 2018 she was promoted to a paralegal role within the department, where she assisted another legal advisor in the department with her client matters. Shantel was then offered a legal advisor position in 2019 within the department and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2022.

Personal Info

In her spare time Shantel enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, family and friends and enjoys going for walks in Cannock Chase. She also likes to takes part in charitable activities, completing a charitable skydive for the British Heart Foundation where she raised £750! She is also very keen on exploring other countries and cultures and can also speak Punjabi.
