About Me
Whilst working at Waldrons, I have also been a part of Waldrons’ Junior Lawyers. As a member of the Junior Lawyers, I help organise networking events, take part in charity fundraising and have involvement in the firm’s social media.
Outside of work I enjoy socialising with my family and spending most of my time looking for new places to visit with my dog. I enjoy reading, gardening and watching a variety of television series.
Qualifications & Professional Development
I first started to study the law whilst completing my A-Levels at King Edward VI College. From then on it was clear as to what career path I wanted to take and that my future would involve me working within the legal sector.
I continued to pursue my interest in the law by studying the LLB at Nottingham Trent University, where I graduated with a 2:1. Whilst studying the LLB, I was offered the opportunity to take part in a work placement. I applied for a role at Nottingham Coroners Court, which I was fortunate enough to be offered.
I went on to enrol on to the LPC LLM, Part-time at The University of Law, where I graduated with a distinction. This course provided me with a variety of skills that I was able to transfer to the workplace. By studying the LPC LLM Part-time, I was able to commence my first role at Waldrons Solicitors, working as an Administration Assistant in the very busy Commercial Department.
Career Pathway
In January 2019, I was offered a Training Contract with Waldrons Solicitors. The first seat in my Training Contract was within the Medical Negligence Department, where I remained until August 2019. My second seat was in the Corporate Department. Whilst working in the Corporate Department, I also carried out employment work. In January 2020, I returned to the Medical Negligence Department, for my third and final seat. During my final seat, I also expanded my knowledge by carrying out work within the Personal Injury Department.
During the final months of my Training Contract, I went on to complete the PSC at The University of Law. On 2nd March 2021, I qualified as a Solicitor. I started my role as a Solicitor in Waldrons’ Medical Negligence Department, where I continue to build my knowledge and case load, as a member of the Compensation Team.
