Friday 12th February 2021

The Personal Injury team at Waldrons Solicitors have been recognised as experts in their field, having been listed in the renowned legal directory, Chambers and Partners (2021 edition).

The team are described as having ‘significant experience in workplace accidents and employers’ liability claims’, with a ‘track record in serious brain and orthopaedic injury cases, as well as psychiatric injury matters’.

Gerry O’Brien and John McDonnell have also been identified by Chambers as ‘notable practitioners’, with experience in claims involving chronic pain, psychiatric injury, catastrophic injuries and workplace incidents.

Chambers is a leading independent research company, which contacts clients, medical experts and barristers in order to identify those firms with who have a particular expertise in a certain area. The PI team’s entry into Chambers 2021 edition is an excellent achievement, and consolidates the reputation the team, and in particular John and Gerry had previously enjoyed at Trinity Law Partnership before its amalgamation with Waldrons in 2019.

Joseph Norton, Associate Director and Head of the Compensation Department at Waldrons, said: ‘I am extremely proud of John and Gerry, as well as the department as a whole, having been recognised by Chambers and Partners. It is testament to the excellent service they provide to their clients on a daily basis, working hard to achieve the best possible result for them.’

John Roberts, Managing Director at Waldrons, said: ‘John and Gerry should be very proud of being recognised yet again by Chambers as being experts in their field. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the firm, in a department that is professionally focused in helping people achieve justice and recover compensation for their injuries. This is an excellent achievement.’
