Background
As from 01 December 2020 new rules come into force regarding Acas Early Conciliation.
Parties will now have a standard period of 6 weeks to try and resolve their dispute before the ET1 has to be submitted to the Employment Tribunal.
Previously there was a standard 4 weeks with a possible extension of another 2 weeks if the parties were likely to reach a settlement
