Waterfront businesses meet for breakfast

Thursday 3rd March 2022

Today saw our second networking event since the lifting of Covid restrictions and it really did feel like we’re getting back to pre covid times where businesses can get together to interact, do business, and hear about what’s happening in and around the Waterfront all over a great breakfast!

Waldrons, jointly with Savills hosted this morning’s Waterfront Matters and were joined by numerous neighbouring companies including Paul Nightingale from Juniper Training who gave a presentation to encourage the work they do to create apprentice/traineeship placements for young people.

Midland Metro Alliance also gave us a progress report as to where the Metro work is at on the Wednesbury to Merry Hill line.

Kyle Wright, Merry Hill Estates Manager announced upcoming food evening events at the Waterfront courtesy of Digbeth Dining Club. The first one to be held on Friday 29th April followed by Friday 27th May.

Our business card draw prize of a bottle of bubbly was won by Vicky Wilkes of Red by Night and all attendees went away with a goody bag!

A good time was had by all.
