Black Country Firm donates £1,000 to Dudley Charity for disabled children

Thursday 29th November 2018

Over the last 12 months Waldrons Solicitors have chosen to support The Friends of Alfie Johnson Charity. Staff have participated in monthly ‘dress down days’ and various other events to raise as much money for the charity as possible.

The Friends of Alfie Johnson Charity has recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary of helping disabled children and families by purchasing specialist equipment and funding services to enhance their quality of life. Their work is vital in providing support to disabled children in the Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton boroughs.

We are therefore very proud to have today been able to hand over a cheque for £1,000 to the charity’s trustee and Alfie’s father, Paul Johnson, to help them continue their invaluable work. Waldrons Solicitors hopes that monies raised will go a long way in helping to provide equipment and support to local children.

Peter Waldron, Director and Head of Business Services at Waldrons, said: “The Friends of Alfie Johnson Charity is an excellent charity, local to the firm and doing a great deal of good within the community. Waldrons takes its social responsibilities very seriously and our staff have participated in various events to help raise money for this very worthy charity. I’m proud to hand over our donation, and look forward to seeing The Friends of Alfie Johnson Charity put it to good use.”
