Elle-May is a Family Law Solicitor at Waldrons Solicitors, advising and representing clients across the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Worcester as well as Cheltenham.
Qualifications and Study Experience
Elle-May completed her LLB Law degree at Nottingham Trent University, graduating with First Class Honours in 2019. She began her legal career as a Paralegal within a criminal law department, where her ability and commitment were quickly recognised. In 2020, she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards, with her work endorsed by King’s Counsel.
Elle-May joined Waldrons in mid-2022, completing her training contract within the Family Law team while undertaking the Legal Practice Course and a Master’s degree at the University of Law, achieving a Distinction. She qualified as a solicitor in October 2022.
Work Experience
Following qualification, Elle-May spent three years practising as a Criminal Defence Solicitor, regularly representing clients in the Magistrates’ Court and at police stations. This experience developed strong advocacy skills, resilience under pressure and a confident, strategic approach to negotiation in complex situations.
In late 2025, Elle-May returned to Waldrons’ Family Law team, where she focuses on supporting clients through some of life’s most challenging circumstances. She has a particular passion for assisting victims of domestic abuse and helping parents resolve child arrangements and contact matters, approaching each case with empathy, clarity and determination.

She also actively engages with Black Country Women’s Aid, reflecting her commitment to supporting those affected by domestic abuse both professionally and within the wider community. Elle-May is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and is a member of the Law Society.

Outside of work, Elle-May enjoys spending time outdoors, walking her dog and paddleboarding. She also practises yoga and values time with family and friends.
