Work Experience
After completing her Master’s and Legal Practice Course, Shirin found herself entering the job market just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Navigating an uncertain job landscape, she began her professional journey as a Compliance and Quality Officer, working closely with organisations that were offered government contracts for education. She played a key role in ensuring compliance with these contracts, managing effective action plans in response to audit findings.
Shirin then transitioned into her legal career, beginning as a Case Officer, specialising in new build properties. Her ability for the role led to an early promotion to Staff Trainer, where she was responsible for onboarding and training new staff in addition to her case officer role.
She later joined Glaisyers as a Trainee Fee Earner and was subsequently offered a Training Contract. Throughout her training she completed seats in Family law and spent a year in Conveyancing, initially intending to qualify in this field. However, it was during her seat in Private Client that she found the greatest personal and professional satisfaction. She valued the direct, empathetic client interaction and valued the opportunity to support individuals during emotionally challenging times- offering both reassurance and practical guidance when they need it most.
