Shared Black Country Roots Unite Waldrons Solicitors and Darlaston Town FC

Tuesday 23rd September 2025

Waldrons Solicitors is proud to partner with Darlaston Town Football Club, a club whose history stretches back to 1874 and whose identity, like our own, is firmly rooted in the Black Country.

From the club’s earliest days Darlaston Town has stood in the community and now compete in the Northern Premier West Division League. The team has already made a strong start with two early-season wins at their home ground, the Paycare Stadium off Bentley Road North in Walsall. They now face divisional competition against clubs with long-standing reputations such as Bury and Stafford Rangers.

For Waldrons, established in the Black Country since 1867, supporting Darlaston Town is a way of honouring shared heritage and supporting the community we serve.

Patrick Sheedy, Head of Child Care and Manager of Waldrons’ Walsall office, said:

“Waldrons are extremely excited and proud to support a local Black Country team. We’re keen to be recognised as part of the community, to support the people within it, and we’re looking forward to working with the club in the season ahead.”

Simon Cox Director and Club Secretary at Darlaston Town, added:

“We’re delighted to welcome Waldrons Solicitors as a partner this season. Their heritage, values and commitment serving the Black Country reflect what our club is all about. It’s great to have their support both on and off the pitch as we continue our journey in non-league.”
