We’re proud to celebrate a double success at this year’s Worcestershire Law Society Awards.
On Friday evening, Sabrina Banga was honoured with the prestigious President’s Award, while Jaspal Deol was named Legal Secretary/Administrator of the Year. Both awards are a remarkable recognition of their dedication, resilience and outstanding contribution to the profession.
Sabrina’s path into law is one of resilience, determination and compassion. From being the first in her family to go to university, to building a career dedicated to children and domestic abuse work, she has turned personal adversity into a force for positive change.
Speaking after the ceremony, Sabrina said: “I am extremely happy and grateful to have received such a prestigious award. The progression has not always been easy, however it has made me the person and solicitor I am today. I wish to continue to be an advocate for victims of domestic violence and those who are going through troubling times, as their voices need to be heard.
I hope my story can inspire others to believe that with determination, anything is possible and you too can do wonders in this world. I want to take this opportunity to dedicate my award to my family, especially my mother who has always supported and believed in me throughout my professional career. I would not be the person I am without them.”
Jaspal’s award recognised her professionalism, attention to detail and the invaluable support she provides across her team.
