As a busy mum of two Sarah can also be found on the mini-rugby touchline or poolside and in between managing a long term home renovation she also enjoys running, yoga and is attempting to learn to play golf.
Qualifications and Professional Development
Sarah graduated from University of Wales, Aberystwyth before achieving Distinction in the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law, Birmingham.
Having accrued more than 17 years’ experience in the legal real estate sector, Sarah gained her first hands on experience as a property lawyer at a large regional firm in Cheltenham. She completed her Training Contract and qualified as a Commercial Property Solicitor at Waldrons.
Upon qualification Sarah moved to a city centre firm in Birmingham and expanded her Commercial Property expertise over seven years undertaking a wide variety of transactional Commercial Property work, Construction and Property Litigation.
In 2014 Sarah returned to Waldrons as an Associate to grow the Commercial Property Team and was promoted to Associate Director in 2018, now heading up the Team across the firm’s Black Country offices. Operating nationally, Sarah works across all of Waldrons offices including those in Worcester and Cheltenham.
Sarah has a wealth of experience acting for private individuals, pension trusts, investors, leisure and retail clients, childcare providers, industrial landlords and tenants as well as mixed use developers.
Having worked for international logistics clients including DHL and Wincanton, on leisure developments including Drayton Manor Park Hotel and for national retail chains, Sarah is equally comfortable working as a trusted partner to local owner managed businesses and developers, assisting clients relocating to larger sites to expand their growing businesses or restructuring clients’ assets and moving property into pension funds.
Sarah has extensive knowledge of and advises on all aspects of Commercial Property including acquisition and disposal work of all types of freehold and leasehold property, secured lending, all legal matters arising from the management of clients’ real estate portfolio. This includes a mixture of new leases and lease renewals, agreements or lease, options and conditional contracts.
