Qualifications and Study Experience

Dawn started her career in law as a secretary in a small firm of solicitors based in Worcester.  Although she enjoyed her introduction working for someone else, Dawn soon wanted more and began training as a Legal Executive by attending a local college once a week while continuing to work in the litigation department.  Dawn qualified as a Legal Executive in November 1997.

Work Experience

After moving to Waldrons in 2004, Dawn was encouraged to continue with her studies and after attending Wolverhampton University part time, Dawn qualified as a Solicitor in November 2009 in the Personal Injury Department.

In September 2013, Dawn changed specialisms and started in Waldrons Private Client team and she has never looked back.  Dawn enjoys helping to take the mystery and worry out of making a Will and looking for solutions for her Clients rather than explaining what they cannot do.  She also helps families deal with the administration of the estates for their loved ones and help people to make applications through the Court of Protection where a close family member is unable to make decisions for themselves.  Dawn works alongside other departments in the firm, such as the family, commercial and conveyancing departments and with other professionals such as financial advisers and accountants.

Essentially, Dawn enjoys helping our clients to get their ducks in a row by planning for their futures and if they are unable to get into the office to do that, then home visits are always available to them.

Dawn is a Solicitor, Associate Director and Head of the Private Client Team here at Waldrons. Dawn has worked for the Company since 2004 when she started as a Legal Executive in the Personal Injury team in our Lye office. Since then, Dawn carries out her works in most of our offices in Kingswinford, Merry Hill, Walsall and Worcester.

Personal Info

Outside of work Dawn enjoys long walks with her dog, friends and family, socialising and watching both Wolverhampton Wanderers and local rugby teams (but not at the same time!).  Dawn has done a parachute jump for charity but broke her ankle by not paying attention on landing!  Dawn would love to live by the sea but for now, by the River Severn is good enough for her.
