Qualifications and study experience
I am a Chartered Legal Executive specializing in Family Law. I qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives in 2008.
I have worked in family law for many years and worked whilst training gaining experience of all aspects of family law. As a Chartered Legal Executive for 13 years I have dealt with a varied caseload including from the start of a relationship in preparing Co-Habitation Agreements and Pre-Nuptial Agreements, and when relationships break down advising on separation, Divorce, Dissolution and negotiating financial settlements. I also advise on matters relating to children, and help to resolve disputes around arrangements for children and representation through the Courts where matters cannot be agreed.
I am a member of Resolution which is an organization for family professionals who abide by their code of conduct to work in a non confrontational manner, narrowing issues and working towards settlement in an amicable way. Where matters cannot be settled, I represent clients through the Court process, continuing negotiations to conclusion.
I have worked at Waldrons for 11 years in the private family law department. Waldrons has a full range of other services which complement my clients to provide an all round service. I have a good working relationship with local IFA’s.
I am a Committee Member of Stourbridge Swimming Club and spend many hours involved in swimming galas across the region.
I have developed a fast growing interest in Formula 1 racing, from my family, and have a genuine desire to improve my sewing and piano playing. I love to walk along the beach on a cold windy day to blow away the cobwebs.
