Waldrons Solicitors in support of Dudley Group of Hospitals Charity

Monday 11th October 2021

Waldrons Solicitors are once again showing their support to the local community by hosting a Charity Will Fortnight from 11 – 22 October 2021.  During these two weeks, Waldrons write straightforward Wills free of charge who in turn, make a donation to the Dudley Group NHS Charity.

Dawn Cash, Associate Director and Head of our Private Client Department says:  “The service is no different to what our Clients would receive when making Wills at any other time of the year. There is no cost for the storage of Wills, we provide free Will reviews and we register the Wills with the National Wills Database.  Our team has grown this year so we are looking forward to a busy campaign.”

Karen Phillips, fundraising manager at the charity, had her Will prepared as part of the campaign and wanted to share her experience.  She says:  “Like most people I had been putting off writing a will; I didn’t want to think about the subject at all and

I was quite daunted by the thought of sitting in front of a Solicitor and talking about such personal matters. But Dawn was so friendly I felt immediately relaxed.  Everything was sensitively approached, and there was nothing I didn’t feel comfortable talking about.  It was all wrapped up in no time and I’m happy now, knowing my family will not have to worry when the time comes.”

Waldrons would like to welcome you to our Private Client Team

Dawn Cash, Solicitor (far right) heads up the team and with 17 years’ service here at Waldrons, can advise you on Wills, LPAs, probate and estate administration, protecting your assets, estate planning, Trusts and dealings with the Court of Protection.  Dawn is regularly complimented on being personable, professional and for providing a very efficient high quality service.

Jessica Bird (middle right) qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and since then has guided and advised many people through the processes of Wills, LPAs and Probate matters and in such a way as to simplify the conflicting information that people obtain from the internet or other source. Her experience allows her to tailor her advice to help you in what can often be complex and emotional times – “I want to fully understand people’s personal circumstances so I can provide practical options to provide the right outcomes for them and their families.”

Kevin Martin (middle left) is a Paralegal and has been with us since 2017.  He makes it his priority to see you and discuss your Will or LPA; get the document prepared: have you sign the document; all as quickly as possible to alleviate any worries you may have. You can then store it away feeling relieved and reassured that you have made things easier for your loved ones when something happens to you.

Tasbiah Shoaib, (left) is our newest member of the team. Since graduating from Birmingham University, she’s qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive by way of a fast track diploma course whilst also working hard advising and assisting clients at her previous Law firm with their Wills, LPAs, Trusts and Court of Protection matters. We think this is pretty impressive! Tasbiah says “I’ve learnt that my passion is to work with people in all areas of the management of their financial affairs. This often involves difficult conversations, particularly if there are family issues that requires delicate handling, a skill that I have developed over the years”.
