Divorce, Collaborative Family and Children Law
Traditional Divorce
When it comes to the end of a relationship, whether you’re married, living together or in a civil partnership there will be legal matters that need to be settled.
At first things may seem daunting, and you will want to sort out the facts from the gossip and hearsay.
So what’s involved?
An initial consultation, for about half an hour, to establish your specific circumstances. From this you will get tailored advice of your best options.
Collaborative Family Law
Waldrons offer two approaches to divorce. Collaborative Family Law (CFL) allows family disputes to be resolved without going to court, thereby helping minimise the emotional impact that often accompanies traditional divorce proceedings.
So if things do come to the worst and you think a collaborative family law approach could help you move on with life more quickly, call Melanie Young and, with no obligation, she will explain how it works in more detail.
For more information, please call Melanie on 01384 811811.
Children Law
Residence and contact disputes; matters with social services; care proceedings; emergency protection orders; help at case conferences; adoption

Our specialist team are able to offer straightforward advice upon private law contact and residence disputes, as well as matters involving social services at all levels, special guardianship and adoption orders.
