Leading Black Country solicitors Waldrons have appointed Harjinder Kaur Sandhu to their care and children's department, marking the continuing strength of the firm's expertise in family issues.
Harjinder joins as assistant solicitor within Waldrons' thriving, four-strong family law team, which specialises in all family cases, including children's matters, family break- ups, divorces and care issues. The firm also specialises in cases involving domestic violence and social services.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2006, Harjinder will support Waldrons' partner and head of care and children's department, Suzanne Waterfield at the firm's Dudley offices.
She is also working towards membership of the Law Society Children Panel, which offers assurances on the highest levels of skills and experience in all legal issues involving the welfare of children. In doing so, Harjinder will join Suzanne, a Children's Panel, member, thus solidifying Waldrons expertise in this area.
Previously, Harjinder specialised in family and care law, children's issues and immigration at another local firm having trained at Wolverhampton where she now lives.
Waldrons partner Jo Ellis said: "Our superior level of expertise in family law has seen our department expand significantly to enable us to service many more local clients over recent years. We remain one of scarce few local firms to successfully undertake publically funded work.
Harjinder's appointment marks Waldron's continual investment in staff and commitment to providing a quality assured service to our clients."
Twenty six year-old Harjinder added: "Family and child law is my passion and I am really excited to be joining Waldrons which has build up an exemplary reputation as the leading solicitors locally in all aspects of litigation."
