Collaborative Law
Waldrons is offering divorcing couples an alternative to resolving the issues between them without going to court.
Collaborative family law introduces a new, more dignified approach to managing the divorce process enabling separating or divorcing couples to agree a settlement that avoids contested court proceedings.
Naomi Withey is a qualified collaborative lawyer and member of the Collaborative Family Law Group specialising in all matrimonial and cohabitation matters.
The Process:
- both partners and their collaborative lawyers agree to work together to resolve issues without court involvement
- financial and children issues are settled in face-to-face meetings
- it’s far less hostile and a more solution led approach
- clients control the process with the full legal back up of their collaborative lawyers
- emotional and financial costs are minimised.
